Pressure Washing & Soft Washing in Gun Lake, MI

Gun Lake is the largest inland lake in Barry County, spanning over 2,600 acres across Yankee Springs Township and Orangeville Township. The shoreline is lined with a mix of year-round lakefront homes, seasonal cottages, and weekend retreats — many tucked beneath mature oak and maple canopies or built close to the waterline. That constant proximity to moisture, combined with Michigan's freeze-thaw cycles and heavy summer humidity, makes Gun Lake properties some of the most algae-prone exteriors in West Michigan. Green algae on vinyl siding, black mildew on shaded trim, lichen on decks, and dark roof streaks from algae growth are all accelerated by the lake microclimate.

Revival Powerwash uses low-pressure soft washing — not high pressure — for these delicate lakefront surfaces. Soft washing applies a specialized cleaning solution at low pressure that addresses algae, mildew, and organic growth at the source, then rinses gently. This method is especially important on Gun Lake because high-pressure washing can force water behind vinyl siding, damage stained wood, etch older roofing, and blast lake-facing windows and screens. For lakefront homes with cedar, painted lap siding, or stucco, soft washing is the safest path to a clean surface that lasts.

Concrete and hardscape surfaces around Gun Lake face their own challenges. Lakeside patios, walkways, and driveway aprons collect green algae slicks, mineral staining from lake water splash, rust from iron-rich irrigation or well water, and embedded grime from foot traffic. Revival Powerwash uses commercial-grade rotary surface cleaners for a uniform, streak-free finish on concrete and paver surfaces, and specialized treatments for approved rust, mineral, and fertilizer staining. Every surface is evaluated before any method is recommended — we do not guarantee complete removal of permanent staining.

From the year-round residences along the south shore and the cottage communities near Gun Lake State Park to the homes bordering Yankee Springs Recreation Area and the businesses near the Gun Lake commercial corridor, Revival Powerwash provides free quotes and veteran-owned, detail-focused exterior cleaning. As a Delton-based business, we understand the specific maintenance demands of lake-country living and choose the right cleaning method for every surface.
